about

Ideas on how to participate effectively in this sound experience:

if you have the means and the willingness- turn off all devices other then the equipment playing this recording. Inform family, friends and work you will be unavailable for the next hour or so. Put up a "do not disturb sign" if appropriate.

Begin with water- a long soak in the bath or perhaps a large ceramic bowl with your face partially submerged leaving your ears dry. Drink water before after and during recording.
if equipped with headphones, place them over ears.

Place one hand on your heart and the other right above the belly button. Breath in completely filling your lungs heart and gut and exhale until you have totally emptied the air from your body. (Continue this through the duration of the recording.)
Trace the outline of a large purple whale with your finger in the air.

You are now ready to begin the recording.

Side A:
Breath that Breathes Us
1:29: Read this note:

I am a drop in the pool of infinity
rippling through the heart of divinity
(repeat as desired)

remember your breath

10:41 let the insides of your arms fill with floating white feathers gently sail them upward and let them drift around

11:50 begin clapping. melt into the sensation of the collision of your hands against each other. Notice the sensations or the numbness. Notice if you feel differently then a few moments ago. what is happening now inside you?

remember your breath

*spontaneous movement and sound encouraged at any and all moments of the recording and throughout your life.

Side B:
Humming park:
remember your breath: completely inhale filling yourself fully and exhale every last bit of air. slow and deep.

Imagine that one day you sat up from bed and began to walk... out your door and down the street... you slowly made your way into the edges of the wilderness...gliding through curtains of spiderwebs and tangled green- effortlessly. moving deeper. the souls of your feet meeting the earth in every kiss of a step transferring energy and information~sky mirroring the breath in your lungs-you dissolve - through that breath as the breath - that we all breathe- that all breathes us.
you come to a doorway of fallen trees. Take note of how it is carved. Notice its size and how your feel encountering it.

Journey Within:
open the door. There are splashes of colors dancing around you and all at once the space bursts into white light.

(Remember your breath)

Your have entered the realm of infinite possibility. You have the opportunity to ask questions to discover what you believe is possible and perhaps suspend or expand belief or disbelief. A key is how you phrase your questions. (pause the recording if inspired)
Here are some questions one might ask:

if I knew what I needed to know about ____ what would that feel/look like?
If I already had ____ how would that feel?
If I completely loved and accepted myself what would I choose/do/think?

(remember your breath)

The seed opens:
Imagine your are a tiny seed of possibility. Bring sunshine, water and love into your body through your breath and slowly grow. sprout from your seed and reach your leaves to the sky, slowly twisting and rising up and becoming the full realization of that seeds journey. what have you grown into?

Returning to Her :
Your life span has completed itself. gently allow yourself to decompose and decay gracefully returning to the earth. Taken back by Her.
the bells will sound when you have completely let go of your current form.

Remember your breath

Breathing the Void:
You are somewhere else entirely now yet simultaneously and completely no where. It is softly familiar and utterly new. Continue with your breathing as you explore the space through your attention. Notice how your attention guides the experience, growing the reality- birthing it from the void.

Crystalize :
Return your attention to your body and outward to your surroundings. wiggle your fingers and toes.
(Remember your breath)
Place one hand on heart and other above the belly button location. Continue breathing and feeling the earth beneath you.

The recording has ended.

Your Journey is complete. Take the next 20 minutes to rest and stretch and drink lots of water. Consider taking yourself on a walk outside, complementing a stranger and serenading the trees.
